What is the 'My Matches' section?
How do I use it?
The 'My Matches' section is provided to you to give details about other members
that have a high probability of matching up with you.
There are various sub-sections within the 'My Matches' section which you can
use to determine if a member is a good match for you or not. Each of them are
explained below.

What is the 'My Favorites'
section? How do I use it?
The favorites feature allows you to 'shortlist' potential candidates and save
them so that you can view them at a later time.
To use this feature:

After doing a Search,
view the profile details of the person you are interested, within the results.

In the profile detail screen, click on 'Add to Favorites' button.

The profile will be automatically added to your
My Favorites list. Any time after you add a person to your favorites,
you can view their detail profile by clicking on
My Favorites
list.

To remove someone from your favorites list, just use the 'Remove' button
provided in My Favorites
list or when you are viewing the profile details of the person.

What is the 'Profiles that I
viewed recently' section? What member profiles are listed under it?
meraSathi.com keeps
track of the recent member profiles that you are browsing so that you don't
have to remember or write the profiles down for future reference.
The most recent 100 profiles that you visited are automatically tracked by us
and are presented to you in this section.
This will save you lot of time in figuring out what profiles you have browsed
through or to locate someone that you maybe interested.

What is the 'Members who marked
me as their favorite' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
Whenever a member on
meraSathi.com
adds you as a favorite member, we keep track of that information and
automatically save those members under this section.
This will be extremely useful in finding out which other members are interested
in you and will help you in shortlisting members to contact.
If a member has added your profile as favorite, there is a high probability
that they are interested in you and will respond to your contact.

What is the 'My Notes' section?
How can I create my personal notes on other members?
The 'My Notes' section in
meraSathi.com
is a very unique section.
Throughout
meraSathi.com, you will see the add
notes icon  (for
example search results etc.).
You can use this option to add customized, personal notes on the member profile
and can be saved for future reference.
You can also edit or delete the note whenever you want by using this section.

What is the 'Members who
contacted me' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
This section keeps track of all the members that have contacted you so far and
their current status.
You can either 'Accept' or 'Reject' a member contact by using the Accept or
Reject buttons provided.

What is the 'Members who I
Accepted' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
This section keeps track of all the members that YOU have accepted so far and
their current status.
Accepting a members contact will allow the other member to send further
messages to you. This will also allow you to compose and send messages to the
accepted member.
Eventhough you have accepted a member, you can reject the member anytime using
the 'Reject' button provided on this page.
Note that this action(rejecting) will stop all further communication from this
member to you.

Rejected' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
This section keeps track of all the members that YOU have rejected so far.
Rejecting a members contact will stop all further communication from the
rejected member to you.
You can always reverse your decision by 'Reaccepting' the member anytime, to
restart the communication.

What is the 'Members who I
Contacted' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
Whenever you contact a member on
, the member that you
have contacted is kept track under this section.
This section will also list the current status of your contact with the other
member(whether it was accepted, rejected or waiting for action by the other
member).

Accepted Me' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
Whenever you member accepts your initial contact, the member that accepted your
contact is kept track under this section.
When a member accepts your initial contact, you can send/compose further
messages using your Communicate
section.

Rejected Me' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
Whenever you member rejects your initial contact, the member that rejected your
contact is kept track under this section.
When a member rejects your initial contact, you cannot send/compose or
communicate further messages until the member re-accepts your contact again.

looking for' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
The members I am looking for section will list all the members that match the
partner profile that you have setup on
meraSathi.com.
This is a one way match, i.e. the members shown here match all the criteria
that you provided in your partner profile.
Please note, that these members may not be looking for you, even though you are
looking for them.
You can use this section to send out initial contacts to members as a starting
point of communication.

What is the 'Members looking for
me' section? What member profiles are listed under this?
This is an exact opposite of the 'Members I am looking for' section. This
section will list all the members whose partner profile has matched up with my
profile settings. i.e in other words, the members shown here are looking for
someone like you and there is a high probability that they may be interested in
getting to know more about you and answer your initial contact.

What is the Automatic
Matchmaker? How do I use this?
Automatic Matchmaking is another valuable FREE service provided by
meraSathi.com.
Automatic Matching is a proprietary service developed by
meraSathi.com
to assist its members to find each other to ensure high degree of match making
percentage.
To use Automatic Matching making, simply click on
Automatic Matchmaker located under 'My Matches' section by using the
menu on the left side of the page or the drop down menu on top of every page.

How does Automatic Matchmaking
work?
Lets take an example of bride and bridegroom searching for their potential
partner:

Naveen is a 28 year old Hindu working as a computer professional in India. He
is looking for a slim 24-28 year old hindu bride working in India.
-
Jaya is a slim 26 year old Hindu working in India. She is looking for a hindu
bridegroom that is 27-30 years old and is working in India also.
-
In the above scenario, since there is match in both their requirements,
Automatic Matchmaker will work automatically to match both the
profiles.
So when Naveen clicks on
Automatic Matchmaker, it will automatically find Jaya as a match and
will list her along with other possible matches.
The same applies to Jaya.

Automatic Matchmaker
works only if you have defined your
Partner Profile. So please make sure you do this.

To get good results, provide as much as you can in your personal profile and
also in your partner profile.

I am not able to see any results
in 'Automatic Matchmaker' or 'Members looking for me' or 'Members I am looking
for' options. Why is this?
If you are not able to see any results in these categories, it could be because
of 3 reasons:
-
The first and foremost important thing for you to do is make sure you have
created a Partner
Profile. Without this, these options will never show any results.

The second reason is you have defined a partner profile that is too restrictive
or has too many conditions and is not matching with anyones personal profile.
Try relaxing some of the requirements in your partner profile to see if this
will help.

The third reason is there maynot be anyone that match your partner profile
requirements in our system, but keep checking as new members register every
day.
