Matrimonials? What are the various search options provided for me?
meraSathi.com
provides number of search options.

Quick Search: This search option will
allow you to search by Brige/Brigegroom, age, country, religion, mother tongue
and with or without photos.
This option can be used if you want more generic search results and will result
in higher number of search results for you to browse.

Advanced Search: This search option
provides additional search criteria than the one provided in
Quick Search. Numerous search options are provided which include
marital status, height, body type, complexion, education, occupation, diet etc.
Use this option if you are more specific and want to restrict the search
results to few specific results.

Search by Photos: This search option
will result in displaying member photos only so that you can quickly browse
member photos, without worrying about too many details.
Please note that not all members have photos.

Search by Video Profiles:
meraSathi.com
allows members to upload their video profiles(a video message from the member)
for free. This search option will allow you to search by Brige/Brigegroom, age,
country, religion, mother tongue for members who have uploaded their video
profile.
Please note that not all members have photos.

Search by Community: This
search option is provided to quickly browse brides and bridegrooms by the
community they belong to. For example: Bengali Matrimonials, Hindi
Matrimonials, Telugu Matrimonials etc.

Search by Religion: This search
option is provided to quickly browse brides and bridegrooms by the religion
they belong to. For example: Hindu Matrimonials, Muslim Matrimonials, Jain
Matrimonials etc.

Search by Region: This search
option is provided to quickly browse brides and bridegrooms by the
region(geographical region/country) they belong to. For example: India
Matrimonials, USA Matrimonials, Canada Matrimonials etc.

Search by Profile ID: This
search option is provided to quickly browse brides and bridegrooms by their
profile ID. For example: You can search members with profiles starting with the
letter "a". We do a wildcard search when searching by profile id so that all
members who match this letter will show up in the search results.

Who's Online: This search option
is provided to quickly browse through all the members who are currently logged
in and online on the site at the moment.

My Saved Searches:
meraSathi.com
allows you to save your searches so as to save you lot of typing and avoid
remembering the search options again and again.
For using this option, do an Advanced
Search and right at the bottom of the page there is an option (Save
Search As) where you can save your search for future use.
The next time you want to run the same search, just click on
My Saved Searches
and run the same search with ONE click!!

My Match Alerts:
meraSathi.com
allows you to create automated alerts that will email you the search results
from a set of profile criteria that you save.
Members who match this criteria will be emailed to your personal email address
every week. You can enable or disable each agent that you can create and change
the agent criteria any time.

2. How are search results ordered and
show? Can I sort the search results?
Search results are ordered by the most recent registered members by default.
You can however, change the ordering of the results(and also by ascending and
descending order) by clicking on the column header in the search results. For
example, you can order the search results by height, religion, occupation etc.
in both ascending or descending order.

3. How can I get a list of members
who are looking for me?(i.e members whose partner profiles match my personal
profile)
Generating a list of members that are looking for you is very easy!

Just Login
to your account.

Use the option under 'My Matches' called
Members looking for me.
You can also use the drop down menu located on every page on top to navigate to
this option.

This will show all the members whose partner profile requirements match your
personal profile.
Contacting these members increase the chance that you will receive a reply back
as they already indicated through their partner profile that they are
interested in profiles similar to yours.

4. How can I get a list of members
who I am looking for?(i.e members whose personal profiles match my partner
profile)
Generating a list of members that you are looking for is very easy!

Just Login
to your account.

Use the option under 'My Matches' called
Members I am looking for.
You can also use the drop down menu located on every page on top to navigate to
this option.

This will show all the members whose personal profile match the partner profile
that you created.

5. What is Automatic Matchmaking? How
do I use this?
Automatic Matchmaking is another valuable FREE service provided by
meraSathi.com.
Automatic Matching is a proprietary service developed by
meraSathi.com
to assist its members to find each other to ensure high degree of match making
percentage.
To use Automatic Matching making, simply click on
Automatic Matchmaker located under 'My Matches' section by using the
left tool bar or the tool bar on top of every page. To understand how Automatic

6. How does Automatic Matchmaking
work?
Lets take an example of bride and bridegroom searching for their potential
partner:
-
Naveen is a 28 year old Hindu working as a computer professional in India. He
is looking for a slim 24-28 year old hindu bride working in India.
-
Jaya is a slim 26 year old Hindu working in India. She is looking for a hindu
bridegroom that is 27-30 years old and is working in India also.
-
In the above scenario, since there is match in both their requirements,
Automatic Matchmaker will work automatically to match both the
profiles.
So when Naveen clicks on Automatic
Matchmaker, it will automatically find Jaya as a match and will list
her along with other possible matches.
The same applies to Jaya.

Automatic Matchmaker works
only if you have defined your Partner
Profile. So please make sure you do this.

To get good results, provide as much as you can in your personal profile and
also in your partner profile.

7. I am not able to see any results
in 'Automatic Matchmaker' or 'Members looking for me' or 'Members I am looking
for' options. Why is this?
If you are not able to see any results in these categories, it could be because
of 3 reasons:
-
The first and foremost important thing for you to do is make sure you have
created a Partner Profile.
Without this, these options will never show any results.
-
The second reason is you have defined a partner profile that is too restrictive
or has too many conditions and is not matching with anyones personal profile.
Try relaxing some of the requirements in your partner profile to see if this
will help.

The third reason is there maynot be anyone that match your partner profile
requirements in our system, but keep checking as new members register every
day.

8. Are there any statistics available
for my personal profile?(i.e How many hits I have received etc.)
Yes,
meraSathi.com
provides members statistics for FREE. As soon as you Login,
click on View My Profile Summary to get
a general overview and idea of whats going on with your personal profile.
Statistics include how many hits(number of times your profile has been viewed)
your profile has received so far, Number of members who contacted you so far
etc.

9. What is the 'My Favorites'
section? How do I use it?
The favorites feature allows you to 'shortlist' potential candidates and save
them so that you can view them at a later time.
To use this feature:
-
After doing a Search, view the
profile details of the person you are interested, within the results.
-
In the profile detail screen, click on 'Add to Favorites' button.
-
The profile will be automatically added to your
My Favorites list. Any time after you add a person to your favorites,
you can view their detail profile by clicking on
My Favorites
list.
-
To remove someone from your favorites list, just use the 'Remove' button
provided in My Favorites list or when
you are viewing the profile details of the person.

10. Can I see the Profile Details of
the Members who viewed my Profile Recently?
Yes, you can. To use this feature:

Login
to your account

Use the option under "My Matches" called "Members Who Viewed My Profile
Recently".
This will show the Profile Members who viewed your Profile. You can Contact
these Members and send a Personalized messages for Free

After doing a Search, view the
profile details of the person you are interested, within the results.

This will keep track of the last 100 Members who viewed your profile recently.

the Members who marked Me As Favorite?
Yes, you can. To use this feature:

Login
to your account

This will show the Profile Members who marked your Profile as Favorite. You can
